Name - The Falcane - Tractor’s Showroom

Location - Shirdi,Rahata , Maharashtra.

Built-up area - 4180 sq.mt

Description of the project-

In today’s brand-driven society,  and lifestyle the sales environment should reflect the customer’s preferences. The scope of a car dealership scheme is not limited to sales. After-sales service is an element of the business model. So, the building should look as an identity and should look virtuous to attraThe interdisciplinary design process is an integrative concept that combines architecture, interior , and landscape architecture into a complex aesthetic entity. A modern , inspiring design that should fire the imagination and enables people to constantly perceive and shape their environment.

Showroom  is  located on a highly visible site with good access to main transport routes and an eye-catching frontage. Display of the car range is paramount and the layout and orientation of sites and display areas will have a major impact on sales. But the security walls were not giving justice to the main entry and display areas from road level , so to incorporate that we lift the display area and main entry from ground level and connect it through the dynamic ramp which will create an interesting  and welcoming path to the visitors with green lush around it.  These considerations affect environmental control strategies, as the building is oriented to mitigate solar gain which is controlled by sun -shading overhangs

Design Consideration-

●      The tractor showroom which also serves as the delivery unit of the company and contains both a garage and training academy.

●      Extending its surface to form two distinct building parts, pointing outwards in opposition yet blending with such same vocabulary.

●      With one building element the main showroom or exhibition hall is accommodated with curved shape large overhang sun shading curates south side harsh sunlight

●      Double-height display area with the main frontage in full-height glazing, making a design statement and providing high visibility to new vehicles.

Materials of Construction Details-

●      Steel - Steel is a key element which is used throughout design like in columns, Deck slab, structural frame for front elevation, etc.

●      ACP sheet- Used as cladding material to achieve the flexible form and clean finish in front elevation.

●      Glass- Glass is also a key element which is used throughout the building to achieve maximum display area as well as sunlight.

●      Brick and Concrete - Retaining walls and other partition walls.

Special Features-

●        Use of extended eaves, sun shading overhangs and canopies to reduce solar gain, particularly on the main façade

●        Use of rooflights/skylights to provide basic levels of illumination without adding to cooling loads

●        Enhanced insulation for solid cladding and roofs using puff panels

●        Lighting control, i.e. Motion detecting lighting options for private areas such as ablutions and office areas so that when they are not in use; energy is not being consumed unnecessarily

●        Offsetting relatively high carbon emissions in a mechanically cooled showroom across the total floor area of the scheme, which includes areas such as workshops with lower loads

●        Double glazed glass insulated bespoke Compact Sectional access doors which contribute to allowing in maximum light (less electricity), working together with the aesthetics of the build all the while being a useful asset to the building for vehicles to come and go.
